Just me, an old Nagra tape machine, and a 1935 Epiphone Olympic. This track envisions the steamboat, Mohave II, a vessel that once ran the Colorado River, with all its sandbars and looming cattails. I envisioned a short piece with constantly unfolding dissonances, navigating changing key centers by way of voice leading.
